If you need advice and it is not an emergency (as above) please call 111 to speak to the NHS111 service who now provide our Out-Of-Hours first line support. They can advise you if your problem needs immediate/urgent attention or if you need to contact your GP when the surgery is open
Mental Health Crisis Team - The 111 service can also assist anyone with mental health worries when the surgery is closed. Call 111 and select option 2 to speak with the Crisis Team

Accident and Emergency departments are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and can assess serious injuries and provide emergency treatment.
Your local Walk-in Centre and Minor Injuries Unit is now located at the City Care Centre on Thorpe Road.
Open seven days a week from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m. no appointment is necessary.

- treatment for minor injuries and illness from experienced NHS staff
- emergency contraception / family planning
- ear care
- smoking cessation advice
- general health advice and information
- advice on how to stay healthy
- information on local out-of-hours GP and dental services
- information on local pharmacy services
